How often will i-Say contact me?
We’ll contact you whenever there is a survey for you to take, either by email or by Signing in and checking your Available Surveys. Most members receive surveys at least once each month with an average of about four per month. It is always your choice whether you take a survey but the more surveys you take, the more points you earn.
We’ll also occasionally send you emails when there is important news that you should know about right away.
How much money will I make for taking surveys?
You will earn reward points which can be redeemed for money (in the form of an authorized check), donations and prepaid American Express cards. We are always looking at new incentive opportunities so you can expect more options in the near future.
If you were promised lots of money for taking surveys or a payout for joining, this offer did not come from Ipsos and is not legitimate. As a member of i-Say, and most other legitimate market research companies, you will not earn big money doing surveys.
Your say WILL count. You WILL get chances to earn points to redeem for great prizes. And, we WILL deliver the rewards we promise. Check out the Winners page to see for yourself.
What if I no longer want to be a member?
If you would like to terminate your membership, just click the Unsubscribe link and follow the instructions. If you have points remaining in your rewards account, you can redeem them up to 45 days after terminating your membership. After 45 days, all remaining points will be forfeited.
Please allow 10 days for us to process your unsubscribe request. If you receive survey invitations or emails during that time period, please ignore them.
Your membership is always voluntary and you can decide whether or not to take any surveys that you are invited to.

Why doesn’t Remember me, remember me?
For the Remember me button to save your sign in information, you must close the browser window (when you are finished using our site for the day) instead of signing out. If you sign out before closing the window, your information will be lost. We only suggest you use the Remember me button if you are the only person using your computer.
What browsers are supported on the i-Say site?
Currently, the i-Say site (and surveys) can be used with Firefox 3.0 or later, and Internet Explorer version 6 or later. If you are using another browser, we suggest upgrading to ensure you get the full experience of our site or if you encounter any technical issues preventing you from accessing the site or using the new features available to you.
Surveys
How often will I receive survey invitations from i-Say?
Most panelists receive at least one survey invitation every month with an average of four per month. Based on profile information (such as age, gender, etc.), some members receive a more than this.
It is always your decision about whether or not you take a survey.
How do I receive my points or other rewards for taking a survey?
Anytime you take a survey, either through an email link or using the Available Surveys feature on our site, our system tallies your reward points & contest entries earned as soon as you complete the survey.
For most surveys, reward points will be added to your account within a few minutes of survey completion.
When I click on a survey link from my email invitation, I cannot connect to the survey. What should I do?
If clicking on the link does not let you access the survey, copy and paste the link into your browser.
The link may be cut across two lines or more. If it is, you may have to copy and paste each line separately.
If you still cannot access the survey, Contact Us.
What should I do if I’m having trouble/technical difficulties taking a survey?
If you experience difficulty with the link or any part of the survey experience, please use the Contact Us form and provide a brief explanation of the problem. We will look into the matter and get back to you within 2 business days. Please include as much information as possible, including the survey link which includes the survey identifier.
Why do some surveys end early, or I’m not allowed taking them?
Many surveys are looking for specific characteristics that apply only to a small percentage of our panel. Although it can be frustrating, ending a survey early ensures that we don’t waste your time. Answering an entire survey about a product that is of no interest to you would likely be more frustrating.
As a token of our appreciation for your interest and time, you will earn i-Say points for completing a survey. In case you are disqualified, you will still be entered into our Monthly Click Draw, and you could earn up to 5 points.
Why do surveys often ask if I intend to buy something?
Questions like "Do you intend to buy this product" are meant to find out what types of people are interested in a product. For example, men are more likely to want to buy a moustache trimmer but women are more likely to want to buy a curling iron. Sometimes, it’s hard to know what types of people would be interested in a product so that’s why we ask.
We will NEVER try to sell you anything.
What if I will be away and cannot take surveys?
If you are planning on going on vacation or need some time off from taking surveys due to other time demands, you do not need to unsubscribe. Use the Report a Vacation feature and share with us the days you will be away. We will make sure not to send you any survey invitations during that time.
Please note: the maximum amount of time away without jeopardizing your memberships must not exceed 180 days.
How do I know how many surveys I have completed?
To check your survey history, sign in and click Survey History found under the My Surveys main menu. There you will find all the details of your completed surveys.
Earning Points
How do I earn points?
Earn points by taking i-Say surveys. The number of points you earn for each survey depends on several factors, including survey length. Your points will be deposited in your rewards account within a few minutes after you complete the survey.
How do I check my points?
You can access your account by signing in and visiting the My Account page. We provide information about points earned, orders/points redeemed and your account balance.
How often is my account updated with points I’ve earned?
The points you earn for taking surveys are added to your account within a few minutes after you complete a survey, unless the survey instructions indicate otherwise. For two part studies, points for the second part will be added within a few days after the study has closed. Please be advised that in some cases, points may take a few days to be awarded. When you redeem your points, your account is instantly debited.
What if the points for a survey I took do not show up in my account?
For some surveys, such as those that are to be taken over several days, points may not be deposited in your account until you complete the last portion/day of the survey. Other times, a sweepstakes is offered instead of points. The survey introduction will provide the specific reward information for that particular study. If your points do not appear upon survey completion (or if the point balance is incorrect), please let us know.
Loyalty Points
How do I earn Loyalty Points?
You can earn Loyalty Points just by completing surveys. When you respond to 10 surveys you'll earn 50 bonus points. Answer 50 surveys and you could earn 200 bonus points. That's on top of the points you already earn for completing each survey. The loyalty program runs from Jan. 1 - Dec. 31 each year and does not carry over. You must complete the survey to count - surveys in which you did not qualify, have reached their target, you abandoned, etc. will not count. Visit the Loyalty Page for more details.

Can I change my order or exchange it for another option after I’ve placed my order? Can I return an item?
Most of the time, you cannot modify your order once it is placed and order processing has begun.
In some cases, you may be able to cancel your order immediately after it is placed. Look in the Orders section of the My Account page; if a cancel button appears in the order status column, you may cancel your order.

How long do I have to use gift cards?
American Express gift cards are valid for six months from the date of issue.
Do my points ever expire?
Your points do not expire as long as you remain an active member of the i-Say panel.
If you unsubscribe from the panel; if your membership becomes inactive; or if you are deactivated, you will have 45 days to use your points. After 45 days, your points account will be closed and any unused points will be forfeited.
An inactive panel member is someone who has not responded to any survey invitations for a while, in which case i-Say reserves the right to deactivate your membership.
Contests and Winners
What contests are available to i-Say panel members?
We always have several contests available for our members. For a complete description of our current contests and how you can become eligible to win, visit the Contests page.
How will I be notified if I win?
Winners are notified via email. We send a winner notification email to the address we have on file for you - so be sure your email address is up to date. (To change your email address, sign in and click on My Profile.)
Every winner’s notification includes an expiration date - which means that you must respond to the prize notification by the date stated in the email or you will forfeit the prize. So check your email often!
Members can also check the Other Rewards information on the My Account page (available after signing in). Any contest winnings that are pending acceptance will be listed in this section of the page.
Where can I find information about past winners?
Poll Predictor
What is it? How do I get to play?
After each survey you complete, you’ll be invited to play the Poll Predictor game. The object of the Poll Predictor game is to see how closely you can guess what percentage of Americans answered yes to different questions. Players are awarded chances depending on how closely they guess the percentage of responses given to a particular question.
Use the sliding bar provided to submit your answer between 0% and 100%. The closer you guess, the more chances you get to enter into our draws.
We’ll let you know immediately how many chances you've won. Click "Spend Your Chances" to continue. Allocate your chances to any of our prizes.
Each prize draw has an "end date" specified. When this date has been reached, a winner will be randomly chosen and notified by email. One prize is awarded each week. How does scoring work?
How does scoring work?
Exact guess = 25 chances
Within 1 point (plus or minus) = 20 chances
Within 3 points = 15 chances
Within 5 points = 10 chances
Within 10 points = 5 chances
Within 25 points= 1 chance
How do I allocate my chances?
Once you've been awarded your chances, you may allocate all or some of them to any prize listed. The more chances you allocate to each prize draw, the better your chances are of winning that prize.
How do I know if I’ve won?
Each draw has an end date listed under each prize. When the draw date ends, our system automatically closes that prize and randomly selects a winner. We will contact you by email if you have won.
Where do the answers from Poll Predictor come from?
We poll i-Say panelists on each question using a representative sample of the United States and Canada general population.
What if I have trouble connecting to the game after I take a survey?
Please Contact Us so that we can provide a replacement link to the game.

Privacy
How is my personal privacy protected?
Protecting your privacy is very important to us. We will never try to sell you anything and will use the information you provide only for research purposes.
Please see our Privacy policy for details.
How is my personal information used?
Information such as age and gender are factors we use to select participants for our surveys. Without them, we are not able to ensure our results accurately reflect the demographic make-up of the U.S. or Canada. Income is part of the demographic information we require to ensure we have a panel representative of the population.
We will never give your personal information to anyone outside of our company (including our clients). The information you provide is only used for research purposes, and to determine who is best suited for a survey. For more information on our privacy policy, click here.
What are cookies and why does my computer have to accept them in order to complete a survey or sign in?
A cookie is a small bit of information that is stored in a user's browser, often just a code that contains the server name and a generated string of unique text and numbers. Cookies are used to store information about what pages you have requested within that specific site (and, only within that site). Any sites that need to "recognize" you without a password (such as a customized news reader, MyYahoo!, or other personalized sites) do so by storing the key to your profile as a cookie. Unless the visitor has specifically offered personal information already on the site (e.g., through a registration form), there is no way for a site to know more about that individual than the unique cookie code within that particular site. Cookies can be beneficial in research to determine where a respondent has "left off" in a survey if they wish to pick up again later and to help us provide your personalized information when you are signed in.
Facts and Misconceptions
When it comes to the internet, we understand that there are many things that can be worrisome. Here at i-Say, we are open about what we do, what we don’t do and when we make mistakes. Here are some questions and concerns that we’ve received from panelists.
If you’re not trying to sell me anything, why do you keep asking if I want to buy something?
Survey questions like "Do you intend to buy this product" are meant to find out what types of people are interested in a product. For example, men are more likely to want to buy a moustache trimmer but women are more likely to want to buy a curling iron. Sometimes, it’s hard to know what types of people would be interested in a product so that’s why we ask. We will never try to sell you anything.
My credit card was charged!
i-Say never asks for your credit card information and we never charge panelists to be members. i-Say is free to join and free to take surveys. It hasn’t happened, but if you see the Ipsos i-Say name on your credit card bill, then be assured it is fraud. Please let i-Say and your credit card company know immediately.
Why am I getting spam now?
i-Say never shares your email address with anyone. 100% guaranteed. We are registered with Habeas and TRUSTe, two top email compliance organizations, as well as Casro, ESOMAR, MRA, and MRIA, the top global market research organizations. Our business depends on the fact that we follow accredited email processes. We do not spam.
I never got the incentives I was promised.
Delivery takes up to 5-8 weeks. If you have waited longer since the time of order, there may be a problem. Please contact us so that we can investigate the problem.
Why am I still getting emails even though I unsubscribed a while ago?
Within ten days of unsubscribing, you will stop receiving emails from i-Say. If you are still receiving emails after that point, it may be because we have you registered with a different email address. Check the most recent i-Say email you received to see which address it was sent to. Unsubscribe with that address instead. If you continue to receive surveys from i-Say more than ten days after you unsubscribed from us, please contact us.
I was promised I would make a lot of money doing surveys and I haven’t.
As a member of i-Say, and most other legitimate market research companies, you will not earn big money doing surveys. Your say WILL count. You WILL get chances to earn points to redeem for great prizes. And, we WILL deliver the rewards we promise. Check out the Winners page to for some examples.
I signed up for a pay-out for joining, but I never received it.
Some people who join i-Say visit us from a third party site which promises a pay-out for joining i-Say. Those pay-outs are the responsibility of the referring company. i-Say does not pay the person who joins. If you were expecting a pay-out and did not receive it, contact the site that promised it to you.
i-Say does offer a sweepstakes worth $5000 for joining and a monthly bonus sweepstakes. Winners are posted on our website.

If you have other questions and did not find your answer here, please Contact Us. We’ll get back to you within 2 business days.

Former Members of Global Opinion Panels
What happens to the points I had earned with Global Opinion Panels?
The value of your earned points has been transferred to your i-Say member account automatically! You may notice that the point structure has changed. Here’s an example of the difference: If you want to redeem points for a $10 Amazon.com voucher code, you’ll need 1,000 i-Say points. You would’ve needed 10,000 Global Opinion Panels points for the same $10 voucher. Click “Browse Rewards” under the Rewards drop-down menu to view new redemption options and the amount of points you need for them. Note that you will need a minimum of 1,000 points to redeem for rewards.
I’m confused by the redemption order section in my i-Say account. Are the point amounts for my Global Opinion Panels redemptions right?
The redeemed points you see in the redemption order section of your account are a sum of all points you redeemed through Global Opinion Panels from the time you joined through September 11, 2012. These points have already been added up and converted to the i-Say point structure. For example, if you see 3,000 points redeemed for Global Opinion Panels rewards, this means you redeemed 30,000 points in total prior to the merging of panels.
Points you redeemed between Sept. 12 and Sept. 28, 2012 through Global Opinion Panels will be added up and converted to i-Say points in the coming weeks.
