Long time i-Say member and VIP panel participant Barbara Henry just won a brand new Mini Cooper from Ipsos Interactive Services and i-Say! The Brockville, Ontario, Canada native was ecstatic when she heard the news. “She couldn’t have been a nicer winner, or a more perfect panelist!” reports Lisa Landry, Incentives Manager for Ipsos i-Say, who took Barbara and her husband Gordon out for lunch to celebrate just before the big giveaway.

Brockville, Ontario: Barbara Henry didn’t even realize that she was in the running to win the Mini Cooper. The self-described hockey mom, with a life filled with volunteer work and the activities of her three teenage sons, just answered surveys because they kept her interested, and because she liked the feeling of having her opinion heard by various decision makers and groups.

After a much-deserved vacation at Martha’s Vineyard, Barbara returned home to an overflowing inbox – with over 200 emails, and found a surprising message from Ipsos i-Say. As it turned out, not only had her VIP status (which she earned by answering most of the surveys sent to her in the past year) automatically entered her into the draw to win the shiny red Mini Cooper — she had actually won!

Additional information about the new i-Say points program

As with any new program, we’ve received many questions since our launch on April 1st. Here are some answers and information that may be helpful.

When points are deposited: A technical issue has been discovered with our incentive vendor’s website, which resulted in some inaccurate point summaries being displayed. Please be assured that we are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Reward points are deposited in your account 1 to 2 business days after you complete a survey. They will not appear in your account immediately.
Logging in to view your point balance: An email has been sent to you with a temporary password. All you need is this temporary password and your email address to log in to your points account. We ask that you change your temporary password the first time you log in. You may be prompted to do so automatically, or you can click the ‘Change Password’ link after you log in. If you have difficulty logging in, please contact customerservice@incentone.com.
Password vs PIN: When password is referenced, it refers to the password you created the first time you accessed our Points website. Your PIN, on the other hand, is your ID number and is used when accessing www.i-say.com. Specifically, you will use your PIN on such pages as “Change of Info’ or ‘Refer a Friend’.
Your PIN is (insert PIN). If you ever need to access your PIN, you can easily retrieve it by using the ‘Forgot PIN’ tool on i-say.com. (http://www.i-say.com/forgotpin.aspx). Just enter the email address that you registered with and a we’ll send you a message including your PIN within a few minutes.
Reward points vs. i-Tickets: I-Tickets earned prior to April 1, 2008 represented entries in the relevant monthly contest. I-Tickets are not the same as points and cannot be “saved” for subsequent months. If you took a survey in April that mentioned i-Tickets, it means the survey began before April 1, and you will not earn points for that survey. You will earn reward points, rather than i-Tickets for all surveys that launched on or after April 1.

We thank you for your patience while we continue to improve our points program and we appreciate the feedback we’ve received so far. Don’t forget, all you have to do is earn 50 (or more) points to redeem them for gift cards and merchandise from popular retailers. Watch your email for survey invitations so that you can begin earning reward points for taking surveys!
